Terms of Service

1. What SHOWVY is

SHOWVY is a platform for vertical AI short-drama series. Creators, whom we call Directors, upload episodes in Studio. Viewers watch episodes, Like them, comment on them and cast a Show Me Next vote for the series they want to continue.

Likes and Show Me Next votes add up to a score for each series. Scores decide rankings on the Service and the results of the SHOWVY NEXT contest.

2. Your account

Anyone can browse SHOWVY and watch public episodes without an account.

Creating an account makes you a member. Only members can Like, cast a Show Me Next vote, comment, follow a Director, upload a series or enter SHOWVY NEXT.

Sign-in is through your Google account only. We do not create or store a password for you. You choose a display name that other people on the Service will see.

To create an account, after signing in with Google you enter your date of birth and confirm three things:

• that you are at least 18 years old and that the age information you give is accurate;
• that you agree to the Terms of Service;
• that you agree to follow the Community Guidelines.

SHOWVY stores your date of birth, the time of the age check, and which versions of the Terms of Service and the Community Guidelines you accepted and when.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your Google account secure. One person should not run several accounts to gain extra Likes or votes.

3. Age Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a SHOWVY account. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and that the age information you provide is accurate. SHOWVY may request additional age or identity verification where required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the platform. If SHOWVY determines that an account holder does not meet the minimum age requirement, SHOWVY may suspend or terminate the account and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable laws and its Privacy Policy.

The age you give at sign-up is self-declared. It is not identity verification: we do not ask for an ID document or a face scan when you sign up.

If the date of birth you enter shows that you are under 18, registration is not completed and nothing about that attempt is kept. You can keep watching without an account.

An account can be restricted or suspended for false age information or for breaking our policies. A report from a third party does not, on its own, establish that someone is under age.

4. Likes, comments and Show Me Next

Members can Like each episode once and cast one Show Me Next vote per series.

Each Like is worth 1 point and each Show Me Next vote is worth 3 points. For each series, at most 10 Like points and 3 vote points count from one account.

Comments are limited to 140 characters. Your comments appear with your display name and can be seen by other people using the Service.

Your comments remain yours. By posting a comment you allow us to display it on the Service alongside the episode it was posted on.

5. Content ratings

Every series carries one of two ratings:

• ALL: Suitable for all ages.
• 15+: Recommended for ages 15 and older.

15+ is a viewing recommendation, not an access restriction, and nothing is shown before playback. The rating appears on series cards and in series information.

These are SHOWVY's own ratings, not official television ratings.

There is no 18+ rating. Adult-only (18+) content is not allowed on SHOWVY at all, and being an adult member does not allow you to post it.

6. Publishing as a Director

When you upload a video, a cover or series information, you confirm that you hold the rights needed to publish it on SHOWVY. That includes rights in the story, images, voices, music and any person's likeness that appears in it, whether the material was made with AI tools or otherwise.

The rights in your work stay with you. You give SHOWVY a non-exclusive permission to host, stream and display your work on the Service and to show it when presenting or promoting the Service and SHOWVY NEXT. This permission does not stop you from publishing the same work anywhere else.

This permission is worldwide. It lasts while the work is published on SHOWVY and for 30 days after it is taken down. For promotion SHOWVY may use excerpts such as covers, stills and short clips. It does not give SHOWVY the right to make new works based on yours.

You choose the rating of your series yourself. Series are published without prior approval by our operators.

When you publish a series for the first time, you confirm the following (the submit screen groups them into checkboxes):

• that you have chosen the appropriate rating for the series;
• that the work follows the Content Guidelines (the content rules in the Community Guidelines) and contains no prohibited adult (18+) content;
• that the work does not use AI to impersonate or recreate an identifiable real person without that person's consent;
• that you own, or have the rights and permissions for, all the materials in it, including AI-generated content;
• that you are responsible for what you submit, and that SHOWVY may review, reclassify, restrict or remove content that breaks its policies.

This confirmation also covers the episodes you add to that series later.

You are responsible for the content you publish and for the information you give about it, including its rating.

7. Prohibited content

The following content is not allowed on SHOWVY:

• pornography;
• explicit sexual activity;
• excessively graphic violence or gore;
• sexual exploitation;
• non-consensual intimate imagery;
• AI-made likenesses of an identifiable real person — their face, voice or actions — without that person's consent;
• sexualized depictions of minors;
• illegal or rights-infringing content.

You may use AI to recreate your own face or voice, or those of a real person who has clearly agreed to it. You are responsible for having that consent, and you must be able to show it if SHOWVY asks. Consent does not make sexual depictions of a real person, or any other prohibited content, acceptable. Labels such as "AI-generated", "parody" or "fictional" do not replace consent. Fully invented characters are fine as long as they are not made to pass for a specific real person.

AI-generated content is held to the same rules.

A work is not prohibited merely because it deals with crime, violence, horror or sexual themes. We consider the actual level of depiction and the context.

8. What is not allowed

When you use the Service, you must not:

• publish prohibited content or any adult-only (18+) content;
• give false age information;
• publish content you do not have the rights to, or that copies someone else's work;
• use a real person's likeness without the right to do so;
• give a series a rating that does not match what it contains;
• harass, threaten or abuse other people, in comments or anywhere else on the Service;
• manipulate Likes, Show Me Next votes or scores, for example with multiple accounts, automated tools, or by paying or trading for votes;
• interfere with the Service, try to access it by means other than the interfaces we provide, or try to reach other people's data;
• use the Service to break the law.

9. Reports and removal

Anyone can report content on the Service. A report is filed under one of these reasons:

• Incorrect age rating
• Sexual or explicit content
• Excessive violence
• Copyright infringement
• Uses a real person without consent
• Harmful or illegal content
• Other

Our operators review reports. A report alone does not remove content automatically. Serious safety problems can lead to an immediate restriction.

After a series is published, our operators can:

• change the rating of a series;
• restrict a series: it is hidden from viewers, and the Director can fix it and resubmit it;
• remove a series: removal is permanent. The record and the files are kept so that disputes can be handled. For content that is unlawful to keep, access is blocked and we follow the reporting and preservation steps the law requires;
• restrict or suspend accounts for repeated violations.

The Director is told the reason. Operators may also hide or take down episodes, covers or comments that break these Terms.

If you believe content on SHOWVY infringes your rights, report it in the app or write to contact@showvy.app with enough detail for us to find the content and understand your claim.

10. Voting integrity

Rankings and contest results only mean something if Likes and votes are real. Likes and Show Me Next votes that we find to be manipulated can be voided, and the series or contest entries that benefited from them can be disqualified.

11. SHOWVY NEXT

SHOWVY NEXT is the contest that launches the Service. It runs from 15 October 2026 to 25 November 2026, US Pacific time. The top three series overall by score win.

Any member can enter by uploading a series. Members must be at least 18, so entrants must be at least 18. There is no separate eligibility screening.

Participation is void where prohibited by law. Residents of countries or territories subject to comprehensive United States economic sanctions cannot receive prizes or payments. If applicable law or the payment provider's requirements do not allow a payment, it is not made.

The ranking is fixed at the deadline. Likes and votes made after it, and series published after it, do not count. If scores are equal, the series with more Show Me Next votes ranks higher, then the one with more Likes, then the one published first.

Results are announced on 30 November 2026 (US Pacific time). Objections can be sent to contact@showvy.app within 3 days of the announcement. If manipulation or a rights violation is confirmed, the entry is disqualified and the next series in the ranking takes its place.

Everything in these Terms applies to SHOWVY NEXT, including the rules on rights, reports and voting integrity. Entry details, rewards and any additional contest rules are published on the SHOWVY NEXT page. If those contest rules say something different from these Terms about the contest, the contest rules apply to the contest.

12. Prizes and payments

Prizes and revenue are paid only to winners and creators who complete residence and identity checks at the payout stage. No ID is required to sign up, upload or enter.

The contest revenue-share benefit applies only to the series entered in the contest, for 6 months from the official launch, which is the day paid sales begin. Refunded or charged-back payments are not counted as revenue; if a payout has already been made for them, the amount is deducted from the next payout.

Payment can be withheld or limited when:

• identity verification is not completed;
• payout eligibility is not met;
• required tax information is not provided;
• age was falsely declared;
• fraud or policy violations are under investigation;
• the payment provider's requirements are not met.

Being 18 or older does not by itself establish that you are eligible to enter into a contract or receive a payout everywhere. Additional checks may therefore apply when a contract or payment is made.

13. Suspension and ending your use

We may restrict, suspend or close an account, or remove its content, when it breaks these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or when the age information given for it is false.

You can stop using the Service at any time. To have your account and its data deleted, write to contact@showvy.app. The Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.

14. Changes to the Service

SHOWVY is a new service and it will change. We may add, change or remove features, and we do not promise that the Service will always be available or free of errors.

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided as it is. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights that the law where you live gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the Service after that date, the updated Terms apply to you.
